Greek Salad

A simple yet tasty Greek salad with Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Cucumbers and pan-fried Feta Cheese.

  • Tomatoes - 260 g
  • Bell pepper - 200 g
  • Cucumber - 120 g
  • Olive - 60 g
  • Caper berries - 60 g
  • Red onions - 40 g
  • Olive oil - 3 tb spoons
  • Feta cheese - 200 g
  • Oregano, dried - 1 t spoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Herbs (parlsey, dill, cilantro) - to taste
  • Semola - 2 t spoons


Step 1. Peel the cucumber, cut in half lengthwise and discard the seed using a teaspoon. Slice the tomatoes.

Step 2. Cut off the bottom of a bell pepper and discard the core with the seeds. Cut into triangle shaped pieces.

Step 3. Slice the red onion.

Step 4. Take the feta out of the brine, pat dry with a paper towel and cut into triangles. Sprinkle with semola flour and brown in a pan with olive oil.

Step 5. Toss the vegetables together. Add olives, olive oil and lemon juice. Season to taste and toss again.

Step 6. Serve the salad, add caper berries, fried feta and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
