Do you think of sushi when you are asked about Japanese cuisine?

This is no surprise, because rice is the main staple in Japan, which is used individually or as an ingredient for a variety of national Japanese dishes and even desserts. At our culinary master classes we will unlock the secrets of sushi and roll making, introducing you to one of the most mysterious and elegant cuisines of our world.

Japanese cuisine is a picture of diversity and exquisite taste. It differs from any other by its minimalistic nature, neat portioning and unusual combinations of flavors. The typical ingredients are sticky or crumbly rice, seaweed, mushrooms, soy, wasabi and a great choice of seafood, such as salmon, tuna, eel, shellfish or shrimps.

According to Japanese tradition, only fresh and eco-friendly products can be used for cooking, while the main goal of a chef is to preserve the original taste of ingredients. No salt is put into dishes, and all the appetizing flavors are added by spices and seaweed.

Sushi and rolls are some of the most versatile and dishes you can find in Japanese cuisine - delicious Philadelphia with cream cheese, tiny delicate Hosomaki in nori wrap with cucumber, tuna or salmon filling, exquisite Tamago-makki with Japanese omelette inside, piquant Futomaki made of tuna and onions - are just some of the dishes that comes to mind.

Discover the gastronomic traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun & open up a whole new world of unique tastes and exotic aroma at the Japanese cuisine master classes in CULINARYON! Come & make your first sushi and experiment with new fillings - our chefs will have everything prepped and ready for you to begin your journey to Japan...

Rachel: It was a spectacular and memorable night with Culinaryon. The team is really accomodating and spontaneous. It was such a wonderful night and the Bride is very happy with the arrangement and of course the girls who attended the event as well for that night were all really happy, LOTS OF LAUGHTERS and love that the idea that is not just the usual clubbing and get home drunk event. The bride is now happily married. I highly recommend this place for team building, birthdays, parties, anniversaries. The venue is conveniently located in the heart of lion city (just above Raffles Place Mrt at One raffles place, tower 2, level 4). Venue could hold up to 200 pax so what are you waiting for? This is the place to be.
Geraldinel: In a setting like those studios you see on cooking TV shows, you get to get hands-on and play a part in cooking delicious food from scratch, all whilst bonding with your friends or family. I got to make prawn bisque pasta (from the dough) and vanilla ice cream with my colleagues - we sure had a laughter and fun-filled evening!

Dear participants of our master classes, please note that we have a minimum attendance requirement of 6 participants per class to proceed, and should you wish to cancel or reschedule your reservations, please kindly do so no later than 3 days before the actual date of the master class. Thank you!
