The multi-talented Chef Carmen Liew has many interests, and her love of food ranks right at the top.
It is this same passion that led her to pursue a career in the culinary world, beginning with her formative years at the world renowned culinary institute, Le Cordon Bleu London. Upon graduation, Chef Carmen went on to work at many popular & well known restaurants such as DB Bistro Moderne, Prime Society, Food For Thought and also as the Head of Patisserie for the Saveur group of restaurants.
With her extensive background in both the cuisine and patisserie disciplines, Chef Carmen enjoys experimenting with new recipes with the belief that food can be both nutritious and tasty simultaneously, and always encourages people to have fun and get creative in the kitchen. With her training as a former national wakeboarder entrenched in her personality, Chef Carmen’s dedication to perfecting her craft is also second to none.
Carmen enjoys teaching others and encourages people to experiment with recipes to make it interesting. With her outgoing personality and wealth of experience, Chef Carmen is a great listener and communicator, allowing her to connect effortlessly, and share her culinary knowledge with people from all walks of life in her role as Resident Chef of CulinaryOn.
When not cooking & inspiring others, Chef Carmen can be found surfing or diving, and living life at her fullest.
